Plot

One beautiful day, Ren and Stimpy wash up on Hawaii. They both get up and Ren suggests that Stimpy builds a house to protect the two. Later on, Stimpy has built a house made out of sand. That night while the two are sleeping, the water on the beach eats the house. In the morning Ren tells Stimpy he should have used 'water-proof sand'. Ren then goes to find a house but shortly runs into a giant whale carcass. Ren runs away frightened by the sight, but Stimpy says for both of them to try it out, saying it might be a perfect shelter.

When they go inside, Ren says that they could live there. They live it up, with Stimpy bringing Ren kelp and dead coral to eat. Some time later, Ren and Stimpy are inside the whale and Stimpy starts to complain about how hot it's getting and about the smell and about the worms. Ren gets angry and kicks Stimpy out. Ren tells Stimpy to run away into the jungle. Stimpy does so and when he stops running he hears Hawaiian music on the other side of some vines. He opens up the vines to find an obese man being served by two Hawaiian women.

Stimpy introduces himself to the obese man. The man then tells him that his name is the Big Kahuna, then he allows Stimpy to stay. Later on at night in the whale carcass, in the stomach Ren is roasting fish gall stones over a fire. Then the Big Kahuna comes over and knocks at the door. Ren is then hiding under a whale tonsil thinking Stimpy was killed and eaten by cannibals. Later on in the morning, Big Kahuna laid out for Stimpy a feast of chicken wings, rice, sauerkraut, and beans, octopus pie, ratatouille, some kind of bug (a hermit crab), some kind of slug, and a Portuguese man-of-war jellyfish.

Twelve years later, at night a crab family returns home from their vacation to the whale carcass. But they find out something is wrong with the place, ala Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They then find Ren laying on a whale tonsil and decide to eat him. Ren says he'll do anything they want if they don't eat him, and the daddy crab agrees and tells Ren to walk the fly. But then a watch on Stimpy's wrist starts to buzz, and he and 'Ren' pull of their masks, revealing them both to be Russian communist spies. They both say that their mission is complete, and they both head back home on a Russian submarine, and the Big Kahuna waves goodbye as he cooks the crab family.

Why It Sucks

1. This is the only episode where Ren is so unlikable in the original series. Not to mention that he kicked his friend, Stimpy out of the whale carcass in the most unpleasant way possible, this is something what 'Adult Party Cartoon' Ren would do, not the original series Ren.
2. Not only that, Ren didn't really listen to Stimpy as he decides to stay in the carcass, and not care what Stimpy says about why the whale carcass wasn't a good place to live inside the first place. Oh, and he calls Stimpy a bloody communist, which gets the writers the idea of adding Russian communist spies in the end of the episode.
3. The 12 years later title card makes no sense. How long can Ren be inside that whale carcass? He could have died and starved without anything to eat in there or something!
4. This episode was a waste of Dom DeLuise's talent.
5. The story plot is just stupid, awful, and completely pointless.
6. Bad ending: It turns out Ren and Stimpy are disguised by two Soviet Russian spies completing their mission, and wait.. WHERE THE HECK WERE REN AND STIMPY OUTSIDE OF AN ISLAND?! This episode basically makes America look bad. Oh, and this episode will make you want to hate Russia because of how the episode went. Oh, and what is the mission in this episode? Wait a minute, there is no mission involved at all! Communism and missions had nothing to do with the entire episode! The ending makes the episode pointless and unfunny.
7. The crab family are pointless characters, and yet, they make Ren walk the fly, and do all their work like he is being a slave. Ren didn't done anything to tempt fate, get punished for a reason or not, nor did he ever end up in complete pain possible.
8. Ren basically dies by drowning after trying to escape from the island with the fly. Speaking of Ren's death in this episode, how did the fly not die?
9. Basically an episode that starts out good until things go downhill, like any episode where things went fine until they start going wrong.

Redeeming Qualities

1. There were some music pieces that were used before SpongeBob SquarePants (for example: Stack of Leis).
2. The beginning of the episode was at least average.
3. Its sister episode, 'Pixie King' is at least a better episode than this one.
4. At least it's an episode nowhere as bad as Adult Party Cartoon.
